ABOUT THE ROLE
• Under the instruction of the supervisor to deliver materials to site as required. To clear Sites, leave tidy and dispose of all rubbish. To assist tradesman in ladder work for gutter and roof repairs and for the repairing of fences. To clear rubbish from all types of void properties and garages as required. All to good standards with fixed timescales
• Hand deliver, urgent letters and distribute housing literature as required
• Advise and report to, the relevant Tenancy Officer and Caretaker Team Leader of suspected breaches or tenancy, abandonment, nuisances, anti-social behaviour issues and other dangerous/legal occurrences and effectively record all actions
• Ensure all actions and services are appropriately recorded on mobile IT and/or manual systems and follow up procedures implemented
• Work effectively as a member of the Operative Team, covering when staff are absent and working as a rota, to ensure adequate cover during the working week and at weekends
• To carry out other duties with the competence of the postholder and the requirements of the post
• Operate in accordance with all processes and procedures
• Provide support in relation not investigation and processing of enquires and official complaints as required in accordance with processes
• To report defects to any Stevenage Borough Council vehicle used by yourself to your supervisor or relevant officer
• To agree any work additional to original instruction with the authorised client officer prior to executing that work
• To carry out any other duties commensurate to with grade as may be required
