We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Stevenage Direct Services team, helping to manage our circa 30,000 tree stock and 18 woodland sites within the town of Stevenage.
Experience in the industry with a recognised qualification such as an NVQ Level 2 in Arboriculture and/or Forestry or equivalent is essential. Sound IT skills, good customer relations and an ability to work outside are just some of the characteristics we are looking for in successful candidates.
Tasks undertaken include:
• Inspections of council owned trees noting, species, condition and identifying works required
• Liaising with residents to assist with tree related enquiries
• Updating the council’s in-house computer system for raising works orders, resident requests and GIS mapping
