ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Improvement Manager, you will lead on various projects supporting the implementation of new legislation, including the Social Housing Regulation Bill requirements, Building Safety Act, Council’s Future Town, Future Council priorities across our housing team.
Successful candidates will ideally have a good working knowledge across all areas within social housing. There will be an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge further.
You will be part of a team which support Stevenage Borough Council’s programme to modernise social housing as part of its vision to develop the town.
ABOUT YOU
You ideally will have or be able to develop:
• A good understanding of issues affecting local government including a knowledge of government policy and initiatives affecting housing.
• A good understanding of how to analyse and interpret financial, performance and resource information and produce complex project reports.
• Ability to manage a programme of challenging projects and to lead and contribute to major projects, programmes, and initiatives.
• Ability to produce and present reports and presentations summarising complex project / business information, including statistical information.
• Experience of working in a customer experience focused environment, developing improved digital customer experience and delivery business process change.
The candidate will be committed to delivering excellent customer service, have demonstrable experience, hold a relevant related qualification and be able to effectively manage and prioritise own workload.
