ABOUT THE ROLE
• Interpreting Briefs, scope of works and project requirements from, Client officers, project sponsors, and external clients and Stakeholders, tenants and external organisations
• Instructing the preparation of feasibility studies and viability assessments particularly relating to meeting specific requirements / recommendations on aids and adaptation projects / works
• Identifying and commissioning specialists and consultants, also including internal commissions
• Use of quality control techniques, procedures and document management systems.
• Ensuring project delivery within a strict qualitative and commercial framework
• Maintain constructive relations with contractors and monitor their performance, dealing with day-to-day queries and bringing relevant issues to the attention of manager.

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:

• Detailed knowledge of building technology particularly relating to the delivery of aids and adaptations solutions and works and also corporate and commercial buildings
• Knowledge of the procurement process, for works up to a value of £250K
• Good general project management skills
• Experience commissioning, appointing and dealing with contractors and consultants. Working within a project team to achieve quality and performance criteria.
• Desire to promote the image of the service
