ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Repairs Team require motivated individuals with good knowledge of the plumbing trade to join our team, making a real difference to the lives of the people whose homes we repair and maintain.
As a Plumber you will carry out all forms of plumbing repairs in our properties as part of our responsive repairs team as follows (not exhaustive):
• Bathroom installations/repairs
• Fault finding
• Leak detection
• Hot & cold water systems
• Reactive repairs
• General plumbing repairs
Our Plumbers are required to undertake work which includes working indoors and outdoors, and in restricted areas and are expected to participate in the out of hours on call pro-rata.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to work on their own initiative and can work well in a team.
• Have experience of working on residential and commercial properties in a social housing environment
• Be qualified to City and Guilds NVQ level 2, equivalent or relevant experience.
• Have previous experience of working on planned, reactive and emergency works within the Local Authority/Social Housing sector (including occupied homes and voids)
• Be committed to maintain current, and develop new skills required of the post.
• Be able to work on their own initiative and also be part of a team.
