ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Democratic Services Officer, you will provide a comprehensive range of governance services, including support to various meetings.
The post holder will be responsible for the preparation of committee summonses, agendas, advice during meetings, report preparation and ensuring an accurate and timely record of meetings are made.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
• Extensive knowledge of the provisions governing the delivery of the range of individual functions within the remit of Democratic Services.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written that can be adapted for a variety of audiences.
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and committee management systems.
• A flexible attitude to working hours at evenings and weekends.
