ABOUT THE ROLE

The Heart of a Town Lies in its People” and at Stevenage Borough Council our people are at the heart of what we do.

We are looking for an Investment Business Support Manager to support various service areas and projects including being responsible for the day to day administration of the department. Successful candidates will ideally have a good working knowledge across all areas within social housing.

You will manage a team of technical support officers and assistants that support improvement projects across the business unit to ensure smooth running of specialised property services and programmes.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:
• A good understanding of issues affecting local government including knowledge of government policy and initiatives affecting social housing.
• Experience with housing related software and database management.
• A good understanding of how to analyse and interpret financial, performance and resource information.
• Ability to support programmes of challenging projects and to contribute to major projects, programmes and initiatives.
• Excellent computer skills (competent in using Microsoft Office IT packages including Excel)
• Be able to work on your own initiative and have excellent attention to detail.
