ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide a comprehensive triage service for all reports of anti-social behaviour involving council tenants, leaseholders and residents. Assess new reports, gather required information, complete vulnerability risk assessments, make safeguarding referrals, arrange emergency works or target hardening, and ensure accurate case recording. Work closely with ASB Officers, Housing Officers and partners to ensure cases are managed promptly and effectively.
Key tasks:
• Assess incoming ASB reports including hate incidents
• Complete initial investigations and open cases
• Identify victims, witnesses, perpetrators and agency involvement
• Provide advice, reassurance and manage expectations
• Carry out vulnerability risk assessments and safeguarding referrals
• Identify early intervention opportunities
• Pass escalating cases to ASB Officers
• Maintain accurate records and correspondence
• Work collaboratively with Police, Probation, Social Care and other partners
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
• Detailed knowledge of ASB legislation and tools
• Experience managing caseloads and maintaining accurate records
• Experience completing risk assessments and working with vulnerable people
• Ability to remain calm, professional and resilient
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to persuade, influence and handle difficult situations sensitively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence is essential. Enhanced DBS check applies.
