ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Repairs Team require motivated individuals with good knowledge of the carpentry trade to join our team, making a real difference to the lives of the people whose homes we repair and maintain.

As a Carpenter you will carry out all forms of Carpentry repairs and fencing repairs/ renewals in our properties as part of our responsive repairs team as follows (not exhaustive):

• Flooring repairs to match existing.
• Installations of skirting and architrave
• Bath panels and frames
• Internal doors and frames
• Fencing Repairs and renewals including make good paving’s and any associated ground works.
• Overhaul uPVC doors and windows
• Gain access and force entry

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:

• Be able to work on their own initiative and can work well in a team.
• Have experience of working on residential and commercial properties in a social housing environment
• Be qualified to City and Guilds NVQ level 2, equivalent or relevant experience.
• Have previous experience of working on planned, reactive and emergency works within the Local Authority/Social Housing sector (including occupied homes and voids)
• Be committed to maintain current, and develop new skills required of the post.
• Be able to work on their own initiative and also be part of a team.
