ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Advice and Support Team for a Domestic Abuse Assistant to join us in supporting people experiencing domestic abuse across Hertfordshire.
Based at the refuge you will play a key role in the delivery of our domestic abuse service by supporting survivors of domestic abuse in our refuge and safe accommodation. Supporting the clients with move on plans, sign ups and move outs and supporting the work carried out by partner agencies.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to working and have excellent communication skills.
You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, deal calmly and confidently with emotional situations and have the ability to understand the needs and perceptions of residents.
A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is desirable.
