ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Advice and Support Team for 2 Family Intervention Workers.

We want to empower families with multiple and complex needs to achieve better outcomes and prevent the escalation of issues they face. Intensive Family Support Teams, which incorporates the Government’s Troubled Families initiative, provides a safe and effective multi-agency service, which responds quickly and intensively to families’ needs.

ABOUT YOU
In this role you will be responsible for a caseload of families delivering 1-1 and group based interventions to them in partnership with other agencies in Hertfordshire. Through this support it is intended that families will achieve sustainable improved outcomes underpinned by an agreed plan.
This is a challenging and rewarding role working directly with families to influence and enable improvements in their lives.

To be considered for the role you will need to have previous experience of working intensively and assessing families from a range of backgrounds and disciplines, multi-agency working, excellent communication skills, resilience and good judgement and problem-solving skills.

You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, deal calmly and confidently with emotional situations and have the ability to understand the needs and perceptions of residents.

A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is desirable.
