ABOUT THE ROLE

• You will be advising and supporting line managers on employee relations issue including disciplinary (capability/conduct), grievance, appeals, flexible working requests, advising on risk and supporting with formal investigations and hearings.
• Advise on the application and interpretation of people policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and best practice.
• Support managers in proactively manage sickness absence and colleague wellbeing in collaboration with managers. Progress occupational health referrals and recommendations.
• Provide and analyse reports to identify patterns and suggest management aids.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a people orientated person who is able to advise on positive resolutions for individuals and the organisation.
• Have an ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of policies across the organisation.
• Have working knowledge of employment law and be able to communicate this to a variety of demographics.
• Be open to innovative ideas and driving forward new practices inline with the law.
