We have an opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join our Accounts Payable team. The section is a busy one involved in a range of Accounts Payable activities.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Accounts Payable team and of the full purchase to pay process within the Authority. They will develop and maintain Accounts Payable policies and procedures, improve management information and ensure that all payments made are valid and correctly authorised.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Accounts Payable function demonstrated by several years of experience at a managerial level. You will have strong analytical and numeracy abilities, a keen eye for detail, be confident in the use of Financial Systems and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
