ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Project Building Surveyor to support the Project Manager and work in a small team of surveyors within the Housing and Investment surveying team, dealing with a wide and diverse range of projects. Focusing on Stevenage housing stock to ensure compliance with evolving legislation and best practice, meet some stretching performance targets and operate closely with customers and colleagues to deliver outstanding service.

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
• A good understanding of issues affecting local government including knowledge of government policy and initiatives affecting social housing.
• Experience in diagnosing building faults and providing cost-effective solutions.
• The ability to design and draw up specifications for housing related projects, make technical decisions and solve complex problems
• Be knowledgeable regarding building standards and passionate about delivering customer focused outcomes.
