ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Asset Management Officer to support various projects including undertaking good asset management of our housing stock. Successful candidates will ideally have a good working Knowledge across all areas of asset management within social housing.

You will be part of a team which support Stevenage Borough Council’s programme to modernise social housing as part of its vision to develop the town through its Future Town Future Council programme. You will undertake a full range of asset management services relating to the management of our housing stock.

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
• A good understanding of issues affecting local government including knowledge of government policy and initiatives affecting asset management.
• Experience with asset management software and database management.
• A good understanding of how to analyse and interpret financial, performance and resource information.
• Ability to support programmes of challenging projects and to contribute to major projects, programmes, and initiatives.
• Excellent computer skills (competent in using Microsoft Office IT packages including Excel)
• Be able to work on your own initiative and have excellent attention to detail
