ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about bridging the gap between council and technology? We seek an experienced IT Business Partner to join our Shared IT service. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor, aligning IT strategies with council objectives and ensuring seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. In this role, you will:
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand their operational challenges, objectives, and technology needs.
Provide strategic guidance on leveraging technology to achieve business goals, improve processes, and enhance customer experiences.

• Act as the primary point of contact between the Shared IT service and business units, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.

• Advocate for technology innovation within the organisation, promoting the adoption of new tools, systems, and methodologies.

• Monitor and measure the success of technology initiatives, providing regular reports and updates to senior leadership.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of IT technologies, methodologies, and project management principles.
