ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our Housing Asset Management team.

In this key role, you will be responsible for the procurement of contracts to support the delivery of our Housing Asset Management Strategy. You will lead on procurement activities for the team and provide expert advice across the business unit.

The successful candidate must be a proactive, well-organized individual with a good knowledge of procurement of construction projects, preferably in social housing.

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:

- A strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of various procurement methods, and contracts, and a sound working knowledge of relevant legislation, standing orders and best practice.
- Experience of procuring multiple construction projects, with a value in excess of £5M, including monitoring devolved budgets, ideally in a social housing environment.
- The ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines when faced with conflicting priorities.
- Knowledge of construction and refurbishment/maintenance of housing.
