ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Community Sport & Health Apprentice, you’ll work closely with the Health & Sport Strategy Manager and our fantastic team of Community Activators to help deliver a wide range of engaging projects and events that improve the lives of local residents.

What you’ll be doing:
• Collaborating with schools, sports clubs, charities, and other local partners to bring leisure and wellbeing programmes to life
• Supporting the planning and delivery of vibrant community events that inspire active, healthy lifestyles
• Helping ensure inclusive and accessible opportunities are available to residents of all ages and backgrounds

ABOUT YOU
What we’re looking for:
A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, strong organisational skills, and a passion for leisure and health. Experience in sport, health, events or working with community partners is a plus – but more important is your enthusiasm to learn and make a positive difference.
Please note: This role may require occasional evening, weekend, or bank holiday working to support key events and activities.

The successful candidate will
- Be educated to GSCE level or equivalent (including Maths and English)
- Have basic Microsoft Office skills
- Have an interest in sports leisure and culture
- Have good organisational and communication skills
