About the role
We are looking for a Specialist Support Officer to provide a housing management and support service to younger and older disabled and vulnerable people living in specialist accommodation of mixed tenure, general needs housing, emergency and temporary and private accommodation.
The key tasks:
Responsibility for the housing management and administration of specialist accommodation schemes in accordance with agreed procedures.
Provide a 24/7 day a week emergency response service for specialist support services and housing management emergency calls
Awareness of the housing support and wellbeing needs of individual residents and service users ensuring these needs are met by obtaining help from appropriate agencies, to enable residents, occupants and service users to maintain independent living.
Uniform is provided.
