ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Repairs Team require a motivated individual with good knowledge and experience of the plastering trade who will be committed to making a real difference to the lives of the people whose homes we repair and maintain.
As a plasterer you will carry out all aspects of plastering in our properties as part of our responsive repairs team as follows (not exhaustive):
• Patch repairs
• Skim coats
• Full plaster works
• Coving
• Bonding
• Boarding & over boarding
• Rendering
You will be required to undertake work which includes working indoors and outdoors, and in restricted areas.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of working on residential and commercial properties in a social housing environment
• Have previous experience of working on planned and reactive works within the Local Authority/Social Housing sector (including occupied homes and voids).
• Be qualified to City and Guilds NVQ level 2, equivalent or relevant experience.
• Be able to work on their own initiative and can work well in a team
• Be committed to maintaining current, and developing new skills required of the post
