ABOUT THE ROLE
To successfully lead, direct and manage the in-house Voids team and/or associated contractors, providing a comprehensive void repairs service meeting legal, regulatory and Stevenage Borough Council policies and requirements.
To achieve high levels of productivity, cost effectiveness and quality, ensuring maximum
performance in accordance with the standards and policies of Stevenage Borough Council.
To co-ordinate and direct use of support contractors as required to ensure a seamless void repairs service.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• Experience of managing DLO/Contractor Void Services
• Budgetary experience
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused attitude.
• Proven organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and ensure service continuity during team absences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, with a focus on Excel and financial software.
• A flexible approach to work with the ability to work methodically under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
• Commitment to personal development and improving service delivery.
• Knowledge of building construction, building services, would be an advantage
