ABOUT THE ROLE
To successfully lead, direct and manage the in-house day-to-day repairs service and support contractors, providing a comprehensive service to customers in accordance with defined legislative and regulatory standards and council policies.
To achieve high levels of productivity, cost effectiveness and quality, ensuring maximum
performance in accordance with the standards and policies of Stevenage Borough Council.
To co-ordinate, direct and manage support contractors to ensure a seamless repairs service.

• Provide strong, effective leadership, including championing corporate activities and initiatives that cross service boundaries and implement effective joined up approaches and solutions to meet the Council’s vision and values.
